Road construction only hurts when it hurts you directly. Whenever you're coursing down the freeway and you see that the traffic headed the other direction is all backed up, you have but one thought: Those poor bastards. And you hope that hours later when you're returning from your visit to the in-laws that the aforementioned traffic is history. Or maybe you take a different route, just to be safe. But that's not like you. You're a gambler. You play the lottery. You actually enjoy Vegas. And, really, how long can traffic be tied up? Turns out, sadly, quite a while.
